Timbers, Beams, & Posts

We fill custom orders for solid wood products either from our own mill or from our suppliers. We regularly work with many small mills and wood products producers to source and fill customers orders. Past orders have ranged from a few simple custom dimensioned beams, to custom cut cabin packages, custom width vertical grain flooring, and custom designed and pre-built wood structures such as some of the examples shown below. Flooring

We provide custom cut flooring for customers produced from local tree species on our bandmill, of sourced from other local mill operators. Working with other specialty wood manufacturers, we can offer a finished flooring product delivered to your door that has been cut to your specified dimensions and grade. Popular orders are edge grain (also known as vertical grain or quarter sawn) clear Douglas-fir in 3 ¼” and 5 ½” by ¾” sizes, and birch and larch 3 ¼” flooring. Wider plank flooring is available in thicker dimensions, to reduce the risk of “cupping” after the kiln drying and shaping process. Finishing Lumber

We provide custom ordered finishing lumber. If you are looking for a high quality wood product that is not available at your local Home Depot or Rona, we can help you obtain your wood order. We produce and source high quality finished wood products such as edge grain and clear grade trim, window and door casing, fascia board, furniture stock, etc.  For cost savings, we can prepare a package containing materials such as post, beam, flooring, and finishing lumber, etc in one order for deliver to your home or job site.

Bridge Decking

Bridge decking is available for industrial forestry and mining road bridges, as well as private driveway bridges, and pedestrian bridges. To get a quote or place an order, please call to consult with our Engineers to make sure you order the appropriate dimensions, grades, and species to be compliant with industry and building code standards and specifications. Foot Bridges

We design, supply, and install foot bridges for many applications such as access for pedestrian and service vehicles in public parks, golf courses, private gardens, and back yard ponds and landscaping features.  We can work with you to create a custom built bridge for your application using a variety of materials such as logs, timbers, steel, and concrete components. We also have access to used bridges as well, so if you are in need of a small bridge for your public or private stream crossing project, please call us to discuss your needs. Docks

We design, build, and deliver custom log and timber swim docks and wood structures. The following photos show some of our past work. Specialize work has included construction with all stainless steel hardware and self-contained solar lighting systems on swim docks, that automatically turn on at dusk. Side markers make docks more visible to boaters, and deck top LED lights illuminate the dock top so you can see safely during dusk and night time swimming and entertaining.

Outdoor Tables

We design and build outdoor log and timber tables up to 20 feet in length. The following photos are examples of past work. Generally we construct tables from high quality Western Red Cedar or Douglas-fir. Other wood species are available upon request.

Hot Tub Shelters

We design, build, and install hot tub shelters, picnic shelters, and other small custom timber structures. The following photos are of a hot tub shelter recently built for an Alberta customer. The whole structure, including the T&G roof was made from high quality Douglas-fir.
